Resources for job seekers

reader Layoffs. Companies closing. Forced retirement. Reductions. Downsizing. Recession. Call it whatever you like, we all know the economy is in a sorry state and many folks are out of work.

While I’m lucky enough to still be employed, I know the state my company is in. Like so many others, our revenue has decreased and we survive day by day. About eight months ago, I decided not to panic, but to prepare.

When we reduced our office staff, I took action. Nothing drastic, but just some simple preparations. First was updating my resumes. I also verified the contact information for my contacts and associates. I’ve reconnected with some folks who I had let get away. I also have collect some links and articles from around the internet. These I wanted to share with you.
